ENTREPRENEURS: PREPARE TO BE MENTORED FOR THE 28TH ANNUAL INVESTORS CHOICE® VENTURE CAPITAL CONFERENCE

(Midway - February 9) The Wayne Brown Institute (WBI) and VentureCapital.org are now accepting early bird submissions, until October 1st, from startup companies for the 28th annual Investors Choice® Conference. This year’s conference will be held on Thursday, February 9th at Zermatt Resort and Spa in Midway, UT.

Companies that are raising money and want to pitch a deal in front of eager investors should apply to present at the Investors Choice® Venture Capital Conference. Early bird benefits save money plus receive ongoing feedback from WBI’s deal evaluation team, if submitted before October 1st.

Companies selected will be screened and mentored through a number of sessions with teams of experienced professionals throughout the angel and venture capital field. After a series of practice presentations and investor feedback sessions, the selected investor companies will make their pitch at the conference in an effort to raise capital with investors from across the nation.

Entrepreneurs benefit from WBI’s model of deal making, in which over 200 mentors devote more than 6,000 hours to help prepare entrepreneurs for the venture challenge. With donated time and expertise from such a talented pool of professionals, there is no other investors conference that does it quite like this.

This year’s conference title is “The Venture Ready® Deal”, which annually attracts venture capitalists and other investors from around the country. WBI’s alumni companies have raised more than $5 billion in funding and have supported more than 100,000 jobs in the past 28 years.

Of the presenting companies at the WBI Investors Choice® Venture Capital Conference and other WBI alumni, they have raised over $300 million in capital and created over 9,000 jobs in the last three years.

Numerous industries will be represented by the selected companies, including medical devices, healthcare, electronics, education, retailing, tech, biotech, financial services, clean tech, software and Internet. The selected companies will be focusing on $30-$100 million USD a year in sales within three to seven years.
