During that time, however, he did exhibit formidable business instincts selling subscriptions for the Houston Post . Marketing to newlyweds, Dell made $18,000 with which he bought a car and three computers.
In the early days of Dell’s new business venture endeavors, it is easy to see the characteristics of the Lacking Business Resources. Although he was business savvy at a young age, we would say he had developed his "entrepreneurial success script”, he lacked the resources to start his business. But through innovation, keeping his overhead low and getting some help from others, he was able to grow and transform himself and his business into a great entrepreneurial success.
