On April 19 & 20, 2004, the Wayne Brown Institute (WBI), The Birmingham Venture Club, the Biotechnology Association of Alabama, the Alabama Information Technology Association, and TechBirmingham will all host the Investors Choice® Venture Capital Conference at the Birmingham Marriot Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama.
This event provides opportunities for companies from around the country to participate in the venture capital process as investors meet with companies seeking capital. The Wayne Brown Institute is the oldest not-for-profit venture accelerator in the world. The Institute’s alumni companies have gone on to raise over $1.1 billion USD since 1983. Alumni companies of the Institute include Myriad Genetics (MYGN), Sonic Innovations (SNCI), NPS Pharmaceuticals (NPSP), and Altiris (ATRS).
This is your invitation to learn the venture process, build a fundraising presentation, and meet with venture, corporate, and angel investors. If your company has sales and/or previous investment, a strong management team, proprietary technology, and has a credible expectation of doing $50-$100 million USD a year in sales in 3-7 years, you should submit an application to attend this conference.

• Submitting fee (due at time of submission): $195 USD per submission
• Presentation fee (if selected to present) $500 USD (includes one registration)
• Submitting but non-presenting who wants to attend: $195 USD per person additional
• Additional company attendee: $195 USD per person
Investors/Non-Submitting Companies/Others:
• Early Bird Registration Fee: $395 USD (first person) at door fee: $495
• Additional attendee: $295 USD per person
